Laughlin-Sutton is proud to have served as general contractor for Laboratory Corporation of America (LabCorp) during their program to renovate many of the vacant and abandoned buildings in Burlington’s Downtown National Register Historic District for their use; the most visible of which is the former Atlantic Bank & Trust building pictured here, which now serves as LabCorp’s corporate headquarters.

For its role in the renovation of this landmark 1920’s vintage structure, Laughlin-Sutton was a co-recipient of a National Preservation Honor Award from the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
